William E. Maya

Chief Executive Officer And Director

Mr. Maya has over 30 years of hands-on operating experience, predominantly in senior management roles. He is a results-driven executive with creative problem solving capabilities, and is extremely adept at identifying, fixing and capitalizing on under-performing business assets/opportunities. As an intuitive, effective leader, he is astute at restructuring operations for growth and profitability and has a strong track record of proven success. Considered a strategist, he has effectively managed change and crises in several troubled situations towards successful outcomes, constantly driving innovation that has delivered strong bottom-line results.

Augmenting his executive level, company building skill set, Mr. Maya has wide-ranging Board and Chairman level experience that has effectively guided/communicated strategic vision to several senior management teams, while building consensus that drove multiple organizations to success. Having significant experience with private equity and venture funds, Mr. Maya's leadership spans turnaround and rapid growth environments. He has advised and operated both public and private companies in domestic and international markets. Although Mr. Maya's experience spans several industries, he has particular core strengths and expertise in the life sciences and various healthcare technologies. He also has wide-ranging software industry experience, including the successful completion of a number of purchase and sale transactions.

Robert H. Colgrove

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Finance Officer

Mr. Colgrove has over 30 years of experience in senior operating roles, with significant expertise in start-up, turnaround, and various rapid growth technology-based manufacturing companies. His experience includes strategic planning and implementation, ERP/MRP materials management systems, acquisition management, facilities expansion and capital equipment planning / justification, budgeting, new product development, quality systems, and leading-edge, multi-plant manufacturing and MIS technologies, primarily with medical device and capital equipment companies.

He served as COO for OrthAlign, Inc., COO for KRh Thermal Systems, VP of Engineering and QA/RA for Advanced Spine, VP of Operations and VP of Corporate Development for Birtcher Medical Systems, VP of Operations for Pilling Company, and President, CEO, and Director of Roconex Corporation. Earlier career experience included various manufacturing engineering and plant management roles. Mr. Colgrove received BS and MS degrees in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Jon D. Holder

Vice President, Strategic Business Development

Mr. Holder has over 25 years of experience in executive leadership positions, including expertise in C-Suite navigation, technology implementation, enterprise software applications, network infrastructure, sales, marketing, and healthcare services. He previously served as General Partner for Holder Capital Partners (HCP), working with founders, capital sources, and management in the development of early stage companies. During his tenure, he led and managed the investment in seven of the fifteen investments made by HCP. Among those opportunities were Pyxis, TheraTx, EDiX, and MedAssets.

Mr. Holder has previously also held executive management positions at EDiX, Vestara, MagnaFlow, and K&N Engineering.

Mr. Holder has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a Business Emphasis from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Mike Steen

Vice President, Manufacturing

Mr. Steen has nearly 10 years of experience in both design and manufacturing of medical devices, specializing in ultrasonic systems. Prior to joining Tenex Health, Mr. Steen managed manufacturing and service of phacoemulsification equipment and accessories at American Optisurgical, Inc. With Tenex, he has assumed a lead role in the planning, development and implementation of the processes required for the product realization of the Tenex Health TX System. Mike received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

David Vancelette

Vice President, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs

Mr. Vancelette has 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including senior management positions in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, and expertise in Quality Management Systems and Global Regulatory Strategy. He has successful experience in the development of startup medical device companies. Most recently he served as Sr. Director of QA/RA for OrthAlign, Inc. He has also held senior positions in Engineering, Product Development, Operations and Project Management. Mr. Vancelette holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Eric Whalen

Vice President, Sales

Mr. Whalen has over 20 years of experience working with start-up companies. He has been an integral member of successful sales and marketing teams with nine new companies. In the past 15 years, the majority of his focus has been in medical sales; specifically spine centric, including such companies as Kyphon, Trans1, and Spineology. During these business ventures, Mr. Whalen was responsible for executing high level growth strategies and active troubleshooting, which resulted in turning around underperforming territories in the Midwest of the United States. He has demonstrated success with mentoring sales teams that resulted in increasing revenues in these areas. Most recently, Mr. Whalen’s contributions to Tenex Health have included substantial sales growth through specific targeting and marketing techniques applied while he operated as a distributor for the Company. Mr. Whalen received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Bernard Morrey, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Morrey is also Emeritus Chairman and Professor of Orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He has served on the board of governors of the Mayo Clinic and is past president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).

Dr. Morrey is past chairman of the board of trustees of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

He is a Fulbright Scholar and has authored four textbooks and over 300 peer-reviewed articles.
