James Andrews, MD
Dr. Andrews is one of the founding members of The Andrews Institute and Andrews Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Gulf Breeze, Florida, as well as the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama. He is recognized throughout the world for his scientific and clinical research contributions in knee, shoulder and elbow injuries, as well as his skill as an orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Andrews is Senior Orthopedic Consultant for the Washington Redskins professional football team and Medical Director of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays professional baseball team. He also serves as Co-Medical Director for Intercollegiate Sports at Auburn University and is Senior Orthopedic Consultant for Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Alabama.
Champ L. Baker, Jr., MD
Dr. Baker received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Louisiana State University. He completed his residency through Letterman Army Medical Center and Shriners Hospital for Children, in addition to a sports medicine fellowship at the Hughston Foundation.
Dr. Baker is Chairman of the Board of the Hughston Foundation and served as president of the Hughston Clinic from 1994 until 2000. Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Baker has been active in many professional societies. He has also served as the team physician for numerous local and regional athletic teams, and is currently the team physician for Columbus State University.
Dr. Baker’s specialties include sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He is Past President of the AOSSM as well as a recipient of two prestigious awards in orthopaedics, the Robert E. Leach, M.D., “Mr. Sports Medicine” Award in 2010 and the AOSSM Hall of Fame in 2012.
Neal ElAttrache, MD
Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. Dr. ElAttrache is the Director of the Kerlan Jobe Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and Chairman of the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Foundation. He was chosen as one of the Top 10 Sports Medicine Specialists in the country by Baseball Prospectus and selected as a top knee and shoulder surgeon in the US by Becker’s Orthopaedic and Spine Review. He has held leadership positions in the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. He is the head team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and is a consultant for players in the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA, and NCAA. Dr. ElAttrache is recognized for his surgery and research on disorders of the knee, shoulder, and elbow in athletes.
Lewis Freed, DPM
Dr. Freed is a podiatric surgeon specializing in foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as diabetic limb salvage at East Valley Foot and Ankle Specialists in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Freed is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). He has been voted as Phoenix magazine’s Top Doc and is a sought-after lecturer for national and regional podiatric meetings.
Eric Grigsby, MD
Dr. Grigsby is the Founder and the Medical Director of the Napa Pain Institute in Napa, California. Prior to this, Dr Grigsby practiced in the Dept. of Anesthesiology and the Mayo Clinic and Founder and Director of the Pain Management Service at the University of California, Davis.
Alan Matsumoto, MD
Dr. Matsumoto is Professor of Radiology and Chair of the Department of Radiology at the University of Virginia. He has pioneered many noteworthy and innovative, minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that have been incorporated into practice at nationally recognized medical facilities around the world.
Bernard Morrey, MD
Dr. Morrey is also Emeritus Chairman and Professor of Orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He has served on the board of governors of the Mayo Clinic and is past president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Dr. Morrey is past chairman of the board of trustees of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
He is a Fulbright Scholar and has authored four textbooks and over 300 peer-reviewed articles.
