James Andrews, MD

Dr. Andrews is one of the founding members of The Andrews Institute and Andrews Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Gulf Breeze, Florida, as well as the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama. He is internationally known and recognized throughout the world for his scientific and clinical research contributions in knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries, as well as his skill as an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Andrews is Senior Orthopedic Consultant for the Washington Redskins Professional Football team and the Medical Director of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays Professional Baseball Team. He also serves as Co-medical Director for Intercollegiate Sports at Auburn University and is Senior Orthopedic Consultant for Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Alabama.

Neal ElAttrache, MD

Dr. ElAttrache is an orthopedic surgeon at Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California specializing in sports medicine, shoulder, elbow and knees. He is Director Sports Medicine Fellowship, Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic and Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Southern California; Los Angeles, California. He has also authored 32 textbooks and 60 journal publications, filmed 10 orthopedic instructional videos, and has been a facilitator for over 240 lectures.

Dr ElAttrache is the Head Physician to the Los Angeles Dodgers and is orthopaedic consultant to multiple other professional sports teams. He is also listed among 2006 – 2011 “Best Doctors in America.”

Bernard Morrey, MD:

Dr. Morrey is Emeritus Chairman and Professor of Orthopedics at Mayo Clinic and the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He has served on the board of governors of the Mayo Clinic and is past president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Association (AOA), and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES).

Dr. Morrey is past chairman of the board of trustees of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He is a Fulbright Scholar and has authored four textbooks and over 300 peer-reviewed articles.

Mihir Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoIndy in Indianapolis, Indiana. He specializes in sports, foot and ankle, and industrial medicine. Dr. Patel has authored articles published in medical journals and has presented at numerous national meetings of orthopaedic sur¬geons. He is also a team physician for the Indianapolis Indians.

Dr. Patel completed his foot and ankle surgery and sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery at Cornell University.

Darryl Barnes, MD

Dr. Barnes is the President of Medical Staff at Mayo Clinic Health System Albert Lea-Austin and practices Non-operative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Dr. Barnes has authored multiple papers and chapters regarding musculoskeletal ultrasound and is considered a leader in his field by his peers. He has been awarded multiple patents for various medical devices. Dr. Barnes is one of the developers of the TX1 System and has completed numerous procedures using this device. He is an active member of AIUM and AMSSM and is the team physician to the Austin Bruins (NAHL).

Dr. Barnes received his residency training at the Mayo Clinic and completed his Fellowship training as a Clinical Mayo Scholar at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Lewis Freed, DPM

Dr. Freed is a podiatric surgeon in Mesa, Arizona. He specializes in foot and ankle reconstruction, as well as diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Freed is published in medical journals and has lectured both nationally and internationally. He teaches students and residents, as well as fellows.

Dr. Freed is an inventor and innovator. He continues to search for solutions for difficult foot and ankle problems. Dr. Freed is the founder of East Valley Foot and Ankle in Mesa, Arizona.
